York Liberal Democrats have launched their ‘York 2019’ campaign; an exciting opportunity for local residents to share their views and ideas on how to improve the city.
With less than a year to go until the May 2019 elections in York, efforts are well underway to create an ambitious Liberal Democrat manifesto.
As part of our ‘York 2019’ campaign, the Liberal Democrats want to know what residents would like to see in our 2019 manifesto; from big ideas that affect the entirety of the city, to smaller suggestions on what you would like to see change in your local area.
All submissions will be reviewed and will be factored into our main priorities for 2019.
Cllr Keith Aspden, Leader of the York Liberal Democrat Group, commented:
"York 2019 is a fantastic opportunity for local residents and communities to let us know directly what they would like to see change in our city."
"We are now under a year away from the local elections in York and it is important to us that our manifesto reflects the aspirations of the residents and local communities we represent."
"If there is something that you would like to see change in this city, or if you have an idea you would like to see develop, let us know!"
"Feedback we receive during the duration of York 2019 will be incorporated into our forthcoming manifesto; so do not shy away, please get involved!"
