Good streets, and good broadband

Across the city, Talk Talk are installing new ultra-fibre optic cables to boost internet connections across York, building on the offer that the city has for residents and businesses. However, due the sheer scale of the works, and the consequences of delays and droughts, some work has caused damage to local streets and repairs are slow to react.

In response, local Liberal Democrat Councillors have launched a petition, calling on Talk Talk to produce a clear timetable to bring streets back into good condition.

If you agree that a clear timetable should be produced, with a view to bringing our streets back into good condition, then please add your name to our petition and join the campaign.
