This year's popular Fulford Show is now around the corner, taking place next week on Bank Holiday Monday (27th August).
The Fulford Show, a community and family day for people across York to enjoy, will raise money for local and national charities. The show will take place between 1pm and 5pm on the School Lane playing field and in the Social Hall, Fulford.
This fun bank holiday event is free entry (50p to visit the exhibition at the social hall) and includes a wide-variety of charity stalls, a tombola, face painting, a beer tent, refreshments, miniature railway, family sports, musical entertainments, a Tug of War challenge, food and much more. The Lord Mayor of York and the Civic Party will also be attending the event, showcasing the Lord Mayor's charities.
There is also a craft and produce exhibition and competition at the social hall, in which adults and children can participate. This includes bakery, photography and painting, beer and winemaking, flowers, vegetables and arts & crafts.
Exhibits should be brought to the Social Hall, School Lane, between 8:30am to 10:15 am on the day of the show. Entry forms are available on the day, or at any time, from the “Exhibits” page on the Fulford Show website www.fulfordshow.org.uk.
