Your local Councillors, Keith, Carol & Chris would like residents to know about the exciting co-design phase of York's Community Woodland consultation. We are currently seeking the views of residents and local organisations to tell us what they think about the plans and ideas for the woodland in a short survey linked below!
City of York Council are creating a new extensive woodland on 194-acres of land to the West of York. This project has an ambition to plant 50,000 trees by 2023 and is at present known as York Community Woodland until it is formally named. The new woodland will create a new bio- diverse green place for the city and is an exciting project for York!
