All aboard! New bus shelters arrive in Rawcliffe & Clifton Without

For many years, residents have raised concerns about the poor state of some of our bus shelters locally.

Using ward committee funding, our ward councillors secured £2275 investment for two new bus shelters locally. The new shelters replaced the tired and worn shelters on Green Lane, near Milton Carr and Shipton Road, near Manor Lane. Many thanks to Rawcliffe and Clifton Without Parish Councils and City of York Council for match funding the new shelters.

Cllr Waudby commented: “I’m really pleased that working together with parish and city councils, our community will now benefit from the new shelters.”
